SID Player

Introduction

This is a SID tune player program for the SAM Coupé. It emulates a 6510 CPU and basic C64 environment, allowing playback of most C64 SID tunes in real time through an add-on board.

Features

• MOS 6510 emulation in Z80.
• PAL (50Hz), NTSC (60Hz), and 100Hz playback speeds.
• Support PSID files up to 64K.
• Both polled and timer-driven players.

RSID files and sound samples are not supported.

System Requirements

• SAM Coupé home computer.
• Quazar or Velesoft SID interface.

Alternatively, use SimCoupe v1.1 (or later) for an emulated SID using the reSID library.
